On Wednesday night, FW Friends (not sure what the "FW" stands for, but it's the summer kids Wed night activity) had a shaving cream night. Needless to say, the new preacher was a target (after he finished teaching the Bible study, of course!)
Garin's "inauguration" into the church - getting blitzed by a dozen kids with shaving cream as their weapon of choice.(Check Isaac out in the top left corner - he was none too happy about this!)

Isaac was on the fence about the whole experience - he spent most of the time watching the other kids and rubbing shaving cream on Mom's legs, but seeing "Dada" attacked mighta just pushed him over the edge...(still, look at his cool mohawk!)

Looks like a very fun night and the beginning of many great memories. John says it reminds him of CNC welcome week. Rachel, you look great - are you sure you're pregnant??
Aww, sweet baby, he was so sad his Dada was being "attacked". That is a REALLY sad face in the upper left corner. But the whole thing does look like fun for the under 31 crowd (not so much for the over 55 crowd). I'm glad they love you guys. And the Mohawk is pretty cool!

Super fun! I like this crowd. Some churches do the potluck dinner, but the shaving cream fight seems more of a jubilant welcome (or a scary attack if you share I's viewpoint)
...don't know how I feel about the
'I' nickname...thought i'd through it out there though just to see...
