Isaac was in rare form that morning - he giggled and ran away from the camera all over the city square! At least we got a few cute ones...

Christmas with the TX side of the family

Last week, Grammie, MamMa Parish, Aunt Jessica and Aunt Stephanie came to visit for Thanksgiving, and we celebrated Christmas on Saturday by putting up the tree and opening presents!

We gradually stacked presents on top of Eli in an attempt to involve him in the Christmas festivities; however, it didn't really work!

A golf outing

One morning, Garin took some time off for us all to go "golfing" together. It was very fun - we weren't supposed to have children under age 7 on the course, but they made a special exception for us. Thanks, guys!

Eli's first day at church was November 15. He was a big hit, and Isaac had a great time showing off his baby brother!

Isaac takes a trip to the airshow

Today, Mom worked at a children's grief camp for hospice and Dad went to the church to work on "Come to Bethlehem," so that meant that Isaac (and Eli) got a trip to his favorite place: Gina's house!! They went to an airshow at the Shelby airport, and Isaac had a great time!

Big-boy bed update...

Tonight is the second night that Isaac has gone to bed in his big-boy bed, and last night went really well - no incidents. However, tonight, we were watching Game 6 of the World Series, and we heard a thud from his room. Garin went in to check on him, and he had fallen out of bed, but not woken up. He was just laying there on the floor, still sacked out. Since the crib is still in his room, Garin just picked him up and put him in the crib. One step at a time...

Second milestone: Isaac is making the transition to a "big-boy bed"

Today, he asked to take his nap in this bed, so we tried it (the crib is still in his room, though).

He was very proud and excited, especially about his Superman pillowcase (thanks, Aunt Julia and Uncle Trevor); although, he didn't exactly sleep on it - he laid down with his head at the foot of the bed...

...and mostly spent his naptime playing around and talking to Charly (his bear)!
