Some pics from Easter weekend with Grandpa, Grandma and MamMaw Mac

Easter pic with Grandma, MamMaw Mac, and Grandpa

Tickle-time with Grandpa

Laughter is the greatest medicine!

Watching a new "Backyardigans" video (Grammie's Easter present for him)

Hey, MamMaw Mac - can I just borrow this cane? I'll trade you 2 baseballs...

Playing b-ball

He shoots...he scores!

Do you get extra points if you go through the net, too?

Isaac Hill, Easter 2009,
dressed by The Children's Place

Isaac's "GQ" pose

The epitome of spring in the South - azaleas, bright green sweater-vest, and a linen sportcoat. All he needs is a straw hat and a cane and the look would be complete!

Easter Party at Isaac's School

Isaac had an Easter party at school today, and it was so funny to watch 8 nearly-2-year-olds running around picking up Easter eggs with one hand and dropping them out of their baskets with the other. He seemed to have fun, though, and it was a beautiful day outside, and that's really all that matters, right?!

Party time

Dig in!

Yum - blue cupcake icing!

Isaac was trying to "cheat" - spying on the teacher hiding the eggs outside...

...but he got caught!

(these next 3 are videos)

It took a little practice to get into the Easter Egg hunt
.

"What did you get in your basket?"

Triumphantly walking away with the spoils of his quest.

MLB Opening Day!

Sunday was Opening Day for Major League Baseball - the Braves played the Phillies, so, of course, it was a great excuse for a party!

Our little movie star

Learning Lacrosse from Ty

Keep up, buddy!

Isaac wasn't as impressed with the baseball game (he's carrying his Backyardigans DVD around to all the adults, seeking out someone to help him watch it!)

Isaac, our big helper...

This weekend Dad worked on our wheelbarrow, and Isaac was a great "helper!"

Isaac and Cam

Here are some pics of Isaac and his friend Cam (or, as Isaac calls him, "Camma").

Good thing it was such a pretty day - playing outside takes a lot of time (and energy)!
