Ole!

For our friend Ty's birthday, we went to Monterrey Mexican restaurant, where they brought this huge sombrero on Ty's head and sang "Happy Birthday." Isaac was mesmerized by this hat (and the song, too), so Ty and Sara Beth (his sister) put it on his head! He loved it!!

A visit to Cam's house

We went to visit Cam and his parents in Mt. Airy. What a fun day!

Isaac got a baseball and bat for Christmas - watching him practice was quite entertaining!



After a while (and a few pointers from Dad), he got pretty good!

You know what they say about the box being more fun and exciting than the actual toy? Isaac played with this box all day...

Hands-on Museum in Johnson City, TN

After "Christmas morning", we went to the Hands-On Museum in Johnson City. Isaac had a great time with Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Dad.

The very first exhibit was a very tall treehouse - Isaac climbed right up!

Such a big boy!

This one was his favorite - first, you take a golf ball and throw it in the huge funnel...

...Then the golf ball would circle around and around until it fell out of sight. We came back to this one several times!

Flying an airplane...

...or not.

This was the dinosaur exhibit. Isaac was very brave until the life-sized T-Rex started roaring at him...

...fortunately, Grandpa came to the rescue!

"Digging" for "fossils"

There were lots of buttons on this display - they made the robot-dinosaur move around and roar...Isaac liked this part!

This is probably what Beethoven looked like as a toddler...

Isaac got to pet an iguana.

Whew. Lots of fun, but we're exhausted!

Isaac's first pony ride

In TX, the church down the street from Grammie's house had a Christmas event with a petting zoo, carolers, and a live nativity. This is Isaac riding a pony - he was very brave!
