Easter Party at Isaac's School

Isaac had an Easter party at school today, and it was so funny to watch 8 nearly-2-year-olds running around picking up Easter eggs with one hand and dropping them out of their baskets with the other. He seemed to have fun, though, and it was a beautiful day outside, and that's really all that matters, right?!

Party time

Dig in!

Yum - blue cupcake icing!

Isaac was trying to "cheat" - spying on the teacher hiding the eggs outside...

...but he got caught!

(these next 3 are videos)

It took a little practice to get into the Easter Egg hunt
.

"What did you get in your basket?"

Triumphantly walking away with the spoils of his quest.

Oh my, I'm laughing and laughing!! Such fun. I think I want to be a day care teacher in my next life! How fun to just play with 18 month olds all day long. (I know, I know, there are a couple of not so fun parts). But that party is so fun. I'm glad you got videos, so I can chuckle along with you.

Isn't it especially cool that the Easter Basket is a basketball in disguise! All the Easter baskets in my past were pink or purple, with flowers, frills and lace on them. I didn't even know you could get basketball Easter baskets! It's a whole new adventure with these precious little boys!
