Picking strawberries on Saturday
We found a strawberry farm that grows organic and biodynamic strawberries, and you can pick your own.
Mom and Dad tackled the "picking"...
...while Isaac kept a watchful eye on everything.
Lots of strawberries (we picked 9lbs!)

Wow, that's going to make a lot of strawberry cakes, homemade ice cream, and just plan eating!Good work Hills! And Isaac looks like he knows you can eat them...smart kid. Love, Grammie
I've never actually picked strawberries in TX, so I have nothing to compare it to - but these were at Whitted Bowers Farm in Cedar Grove (the Isley's Farm was closed by the time we were ready to go picking!)
Has he tried the strawberries? Does he like them? What are you going to make with them? My mom, Tirzah, and I are going to go strawberry picking soon. I love strawberries! I wish there were a festival around here but there's not. Oh well!
