Any suggestions?

So, every morning we come into Isaac's room and one or more limbs is stuck between the slats of his crib. His thighs are just chubby enough and his muscles are just not strong enough to extract himself! We can't put the bumpers back in because he can stand up now, and might use them to climb out. Any suggestions on how to help him quit it?

They have those mesh bumpers. What about that? Here's a site for it. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2266849

So does he cry when he gets stuck or does he just lay there until you come in? Poor kid!

I agree about the mesh bumpers. They would work. Hutson is a big climber. When he tries to step on his bumper he just steps on it and he pushes it to the mattress. It provides no support for him to climb further. So I've never taken the bumper off. He also likes to smush his head in it.

That picture cracks me up. Poor Isaac. hehe.

This cracks me up...doesn't he cry?!? I'm with Callie, both girls just smushed them down so they didn't help them at all to climb out. However, neither of my girls were climbers, if they were they would've found a way out!
