In looking back over our pictures, we found several of potential careers for Isaac, so we thought we'd share!

So, here is what we have to look forward to - Lucy, Isaac, and his veggies. This will probably not be the last carrot Isaac feeds to the dog.

(By the way, when he says, "Pees, pees, pees" and puts his hands up by his armpits, he means, "Please." It's his version of the sign for please, which actually should be one hand over his chest.)

Aunt Julia, Uncle Trevor, Tirzah and Micah gave Isaac a basketball hoop for Christmas. He LOVES it (and dad is very proud!)

One afternoon, it suddenly got very quiet in the living room. Upon investigation, this is what I found. (Who needs a playground when you have Lucy's crate?)

MamMaw and PapPaw Parish sent Isaac this book - it lights up and plays "Silent Night". He plays with it for hours on end!

Cousins at Thanksgiving

We went to see Isaac's cousins (Tirzah and Micah) in Maryland for Thanksgiving this year. Oh yeah, and Aunt Julia, Uncle Trevor, Grandma and Grandpa were there, too! It was a blast - Isaac and Tirzah were SO funny together. We are all in for some trouble when they are old enough to really get mischievous!

When Isaac and Mom went to TX with for MamMaw Parish's birthday, we also went down to Baylor University in Waco, where our amazing friend Callie Carruth-Harper took pictures of Isaac. The first one is of Isaac and Callie's son Hutson.

By the way, Callie is an amazing photographer - very patient and great at catching the spirit of Isaac (each of these pics capture Isaac's personality quirks and facial expressions!). A little insight into our world right now...

Isaac has been developing his little personality at warp speed lately - he is very curious, and more than a little silly. We will often walk in on him bopping along to the music in his head, or talking to any number of stuffed animals in his room. Here are a few pics from his more recent personality development!

This is not about Isaac (he and I were taking a nap at the time) - but I found it on our computer this afternoon and thought it was funny! Last year at MamMaw and PapPaw Parish's house on Thanksgiving, it started snowing, and the "big kids" got to play in the snowflakes! (The big kids are cousin Joey, Garin, Aunt Stephanie, and Aunt Jessica - Grammie is filming.)

Lots of new things to play with at Grammie's house!

There is a pumpkin patch across the street from Grammie's house, so we went Friday afternoon. Isaac explored the pumpkin vines, and Mom got bitten by ants. Ick.

In his Halloween costume, which he wore for all of 15 minutes - in TX, Halloween is not the day to wear head-to-toe fleece!

Fort Worth Zoo - Tuesday, Nov 4

Since Mom and Grammie had voted early (and it only took 20 minutes for Aunt Jess to vote) we took election day off and went to the zoo. It was great fun!

Here are a few videos from our recent trip to visit our TX family.

Isaac loved playing with Annabelle, Grammie's huge lab-mix dog. This is a video of the three of them playing soccer (with a partially-deflated basketball).

On Tuesday, Mom, Jess, Grammie and Isaac went to the Fort Worth Zoo. At the aviary, Isaac and Grammie fed one of the birds with a birdseed stick. It was pretty cool!
