On Wednesday night, one of our deacons brought a "Roping Dummy" steer to our Missions and Music class for the kids to learn how to lasso. (We are learning about missionaries in Chile, and they live near a cattle ranch, where the cowboys use lassos to keep the cattle safe, etc.)
Even though Eli isn't in the class (it's 2nd-6th grade), he jumped right in there!
After he put the lasso around the steer's neck, he kept throwing the rope at it - he's a little cowboy in training!
