Gingerbread House

Mom decided, bravely or foolishly, to build a Gingerbread House with Isaac this year. It really is a miracle that it turned out so well. Isaac consumed more than his share of the decorating candy, and there were supposed to be two little gingerbread men standing in front of the house, but those also were consumed by the 2-yr-old...

This little gingerbread man that Isaac is reaching for was the first to go!

The finished product - pretty good for our first attempt, right?!?

Great job! We're going to do one as soon as we get the house clean. I hope ours turns out half as good as yours. Tirzah and I got some cute Christmas aprons to wear and she's excited about it.

Your house is beautiful! I know you had fun. Making memories is a good thing. Soon Eli will be helping you and Isaac.

Oh my, Isaac is sooo lucky to have such a patient mom. I don't think we tried one of these at our house until everyone was 8 or 9...and it turned out great! Good job Isaac and mom!

P.S. I can't imagine how this will go with two little boys, but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!
