Three firstborn sons

The Hill name is carried on through each of these guys - Grandpa taught Dad lots about the world, and now they both pass their wisdom on to Isaac.

2 month doctor's visit

On Thursday (Sept 13), Isaac had his 2 month checkup. He got his first set of vaccinations, which he tolerated with a healthy amount of screaming. He now weighs 13 lbs, 5 oz, and is 23 1/4 inches long. For those of you keeping score at home, that's more than double his birth weight!

Here, for your amusement, is a comparison:

At 6lbs, 4.5oz, we took him home from the hospital in this Atlanta Braves outfit, which was literally falling off of him.

Today, at 13lbs, 5oz, it fits much better (and he seems to be in a better mood, too!)

Isaac lifts his head up (and then gets cranky)

At 2 months old, he understands the phrase
"lift your head up" and follows it - pretty cool!
(Of course, the bar for "pretty cool" is fairly
low at this age, but still!)
